Time to revisit refrigerating our galley coolbox. For various reasons, I need to find some insulation that is flexible so can be stuck on the inside of the box. Decent thermal capacity needed. I know this isn't the optimum solution but I can't take the galley apart and space is limited. Anyone solved a similar issue?

We've insulated the inside of our cool box ( ours is a fridge ) with 50mm 'Blue Board' rigid insulation, recommended of Nigel Calder, topped with a layer of 'Thermowrap' which looks like foil faced bubble wrap. We use double sided tape to fix both so that it can be removed for cleaning / replacing. Make a huge difference.
Blue Board is available from SIG and Thermowrap from B&Q or any DIY store.

We do take great care not to allow anything smelly (milk etc) to leak & generally change the Thermowrap each season. The Blue Board has very low absorbtion of moisture so just wipes clean.
