Hello.

Thinking of launching a 15' 6" Bilge Keel on to the Thames for the day. Needs two feet draft. Anybody any experience/advice with his slipway... or suggest another in the area.

As it's on the net as public Slipway, am I to understand I need make no prior arrangements ? Are there monies to be paid ?

Thanks for any help on this..

Is that the slipway at the Ferry? If so, it didn't look that good last time I saw it and there were also a few cars blocking it.

It's not the best as the concrete slip ends shortly after entering the water. You would be better using the one at Marlow, just down river from the bridge, which is excellent and has a pier to moor to alongide the slip.

My concern with he Marlow slip is where on earth can you leave the trailer ?
