I have an Optimus International 8660 cooker and although it works fine I want to replace the removable black burners that sit on top of the flame. I think they are for spreading the flame out. They are just grubby and the paints worn off. I have tried tracing this cooker via the net but can't find any trace of them. Has anyone heard of them and could point me in the direction where I can get replacement parts? Alternatively is it possible to paint them? I guess it must be as the manufacturer obviously coated them with something. If anyone can offer any advice I would really appreciate it.

If it is a parafin stove, try Taylors, I believe they use burners made by a company called Optimus

Thanks everyone for taking time to reply. I have had a look at the web sites and I think one of them is a good bet to get what I need.
