I have a 1989 bayliner capri with a force 125hp L-Drive (nothing but trouble and money) i have now bought a 150hp Suzuki outboard. Has anyone cut the back off a Bayliner and if so can you help.

Nope,

But have you thought about one of These That one is american but I think one could be bought here and would be a lot less hassle.

I thought so too,

I was looking at a Project boat where the inboard was knackered. So was looking at alternatives and found those. All in about $1250 so with shipping about £800. I thought it a great solution at a good price! By way of an example the work to hack away the transom by a professional was £1600...so all round a better idea.

Cheers
