I’ve been asked to sign a berthing contract that starts late April. I’ve done so but not too sure what my plan is in the nr future.
my question therefore is. Does the existing one still run until it expires or does the new one that starts late April take precident.


I like to understand clearly what is what but I am a little unsure
The new one is for a different amount that does not take effect until late April.

I would guess the new one doesn't start until the date it states, however, whether you are now bond - as you've signed it - & you'd have to pay to cancel or not, should be in the terms.

In that case - What does it say in the contract?

The license allows me to terminate giving one months notice. Which was explained to me and seams at least good manures on my part. I assume the terms of my existing agreement continue until the new start date. However I don’t tend to like to assume anything hence the question.

Can you sell your contract on? Make sure that the one month notice doesn’t include a penalty (or rather a penalty that you don’t wish to pay). Remember, you may not want the contract but without it they may not want you
