Hello, new to this forum.

Do's anyone know if there is a standard contract for the sale/purchase of a yacht ? If so is it available on the internet?
Reason for asking is that I have been presented with an agreement which i find far to restrictive. Thanks

Welcome to the Forum. Lots of previous posts on this topic. Are you familiar with the Search routine ?

The YBDSA link is one used commonly
http://www.ybdsa.co.uk/public-download/SandP.pdf

Are there any particular points in the contract you have been offered which cause you concern ?

When you have sorted it out, it would be useful to fill in a few friendly details in your bio, please .

Hello and welcome.

Yes there is a standard RYA contract, available to RYA members (via the website IIRC).

However, you may be able to avoid an online trip to the RYA. There is an old forum thread here which concentrates on bills of sale but also touches on the topic of agreements for sale. Lescargot's post in that thread includes a link to a standard form (YBDSA) agreement for sale of a secondhand vessel.

Edit: sorry for "Lakesailoring" Sarabande!
