Contest 30 plans

I have a friend (a Frenchman, but let's not hold that against him!) who is about to buy a Contest 30, built by the Dutch yard Conyplex in 1970.

As the accommodation layout does not suit him, he is looking for plans (longitudinal section, plan view etc...) to help him redesign...

Apparently, the yard's archives were destroyed in a fire, so they do not have any plans...

Can anyone help?

Try putting the question on the Contest Owners website. Be sure to make it clear that it's the early, Uus van Essen designed Contest 30, not the later Dick Zaal design.

There is a contest 30, 1970 ish, in the boatyard where I keep mine if it would be of any help to you.
I could ask to take pics for you.

Had a chat with him yesterday evening - he thanks you for the kind offer, but he already has photos, and is looking for more accurate plans...
