I saw a very tired one in Salcombe earlier this year, which appeared to have had virtually no maintenance since new; it had been raced and where the shrouds are, the hull side was pulled in hollow and not fair. Easily seen if you look along the hull from a few feet away. Whether this would have been a problem I don't know, it was cheap but I reckoned you would have had to spend at least 10k to get it up to scratch.

Look at the bonding of the main bulkhead. A good place to start is by sticking your head down under the grating in the heads and looking aft.
Check the fit of the furniture in the dinette, and the GRP bonding that supports it.
Any play between the rudder and shaft spells a rebuild...
As has been said, the original U bolts were inadequate and the fixings will need beefing up (if this has not been done already).
