My father put down a large area of Treadmaster with contact adhesive on a 45' motor boat and it lasted until he sold it more than 10 years later with no signs of problems. For most of that time it was on the Italian Riviera so often got very hot. I'm fairly sure that he used Thixofix.
We have just stuck our treadmaster down with a two pot contact adhesive S2000 supplied by Seals+ Direct They say it is the stuff the RNLI Use. With the cost of Treadmaser as high as it is it seemed right to use "the best" adhesive. their web is at HTTP://www.sealsplusdirect.co.uk
I've just remembered that the biggest issue was having an adhesive that would allow you to slide the Treadmaster into exactly the right position - presumably a glue like Evo Stik would not let you slide it into place. I think that was one of the benefits of Thixofix. Don't Treadmaster recommend an adhesive?
