Today, the MSSA has launched a consumer attitudes survey designed to find out what the boating public think about various aspects of the marine industry.
The Survey is split into individual sections aimed at the various parts of the industry to establish what consumers are demanding in terms of their buying needs.
In addition the survey aims for establish the customer service levels experienced by the boating public.
The outcomes of the Survey will be available in the Spring of 2004 and will be a "must read" for any marine company looking to understand what the buying public expect of them.
The Results Report will only be available through the MSSA web site and will detail the public perceptions concerning ,Manufacturers of boats and water craft, Chandlers, Service Engineers and Warranties offered on new craft and engines.
Peter Davey, conceiver of the consumer organisation said " this is a great opportunity for all those that own and enjoy boats to put down what they feel about this industry."
He added "furthermore this is an equally good opportunity for the Marine Industry to listen and position itself in line with consumer thinking and expectations."
