Having now spent two weekends having a deep and meaningful relationship with the back end of the boat. Barked knuckles, new prop pullers, homemade bearing puller and blue air I now have the worn shaft, tired stuffing box and extracted bearing in my greasy hands.

Could there have been another story?

The surveyor said that there was too much play in the cutlass bearing.........

Having listened at length to the foul and abusive language from the arse end of Swedish Lass, I strolled over to remonstrate /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif, that the words being used were not those of a Gentleman! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Having watched G being a woosy with a spanner! suggested that he get a bl##dy bit of pipe to go over the end and give it some welly.....Guess wot..it moved, the cutless bearing came out /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and greasy graham was all /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
