I am trying to get a negative feed from busbar. How do I connect to it please. I guess its push in but spade on wire will not push in. I have attached a couple of pictures. Thanks for any advice.

The wire needs a bootlace feral on it

Thank you Seastoke. I will look that up. Is it a case of just pushing it in or do I need to do anything else?

The slot underneath the wire entry takes a tool to release the spring, a flat screwdriver will do it.
No need for the bootlace ferrule unless you want to keep it neat

Thanks Starfire.
I did try that today.
I will have another go tomorrow. I pushed the screw driver in but guess not with enough force. Is it just a downward force required to release spring?

I disagree . Say there is a small fire , insurance say not fitted correctly. But what do I know.

Ok well if you have just put the wire in , when you get timeout a fitting on the cable, so if you look at your original connections and they have blue fittings keep it the same . Also if you are multi strand cable , the wago will cut through it in time. Ps I am a sparky.

Cheers Seastoke. It is a solid cable. I have ordered some boot lace ferrules for Tuesday/Wednesday. Its for a new Sleipner bowtruster remote control 4amp max . I put a 6 amp MCB in positive side with 5 amp inline fuse. Its all working ok.
