Hi
Can anyone tell me how to connect my Garmin GPSMap60Cx
to my Navman 7100 DSC VHF radio.
The Garmin power/data cable has 4 wires.
Red is power(+),Black is ground(-),White is Serial Data IN and Brown is Serial Data OUT.
Which of these do I connect to the VHF?
I think I should use the Black(ground) and the Brown(Data OUT) wires from the Garmin. Is this ok if I am also using the Black(ground) wire to connect the Garmin to a 12v battery?
I believe there is available a "Navman connection supplement" does anyone have a copy they could email me ?
Thanks Richard

Navman supplement...

The Navman wiring correction note is here. The Garmin brown connects to the Navman yellow; the Garmin black connects to the Navman green (as well as to battery negative).

Have the GPSMAP 60C spent ages trying to get it to work but dscovered that there was a known fault in the unit. After hours of arguments Garmin took it back snipped out a resistor and it worked.

Strangly unit worked fine to a PC but not to a ICOM radio. Worth looking out for if you have problems.
