I have a pair new this year. I alternate them with sebagos.
Very soft leather and limpet like soles. Generally I like them. At least the soles do not "polish up " like my many pairs of Dubarrys have done previously.
I also have some of their made to measure street shoes which are pretty good. Again very soft leather.

An update on this.

I splashed out at the beginning of the season on a pair and am delighted with them, Comfortable, warm and grip well, with the added advantage I can take them back should they need repairing. It's not often you can talk to the man who made the shoes when buying them!
