Superb, sense of freedom and lack of responsibility for family & crew .. it the bits at both ends that are the worry!!

well done
isnt it liberating - just back in from some solo sailing testing new headsail. As you say a little daunting casting off and tying up tho easier with practice.
keep it up

It obviously that time of year, Saturday was my first time solo sailing on Aeolus, a little un-nerving at first, then a major anti-climax.

Regards, Jeff.

Well it's only a short step from solo sex to solo sailing I guess......

[/ QUOTE ] So that's how the term "single handing" came about. Nice one Jimi.

Hows the new sail looking then Richard? Did you manage to sort out your Gennaker pole?

Were you out over the easter weekend? I drifted to Cherbourg on a J120 in the JOG race - such light winds ont eh way back - had enough after 24hrs and just reaching the forts!! faced with fould tide for the next 5 hours and no wind we retired!!

My boat still in Scotland - looking to go up in the next week or so as just been put back in the water after Antifoul and new standing rigging..
