To Larry and Mary Ann on "Traversay III", who left Dover in April in their 44' steel yacht and have just arrived in Victoria, B.C. via Iceland, Greenland and the NW Passage. Last year they spent the summer in Spitzbergen: prior to that Antarctica within the Antarctic Circle. Very occasional posters here and remarkable sailors. There's been a really fascinating thread on Cruiser's Forum about the evolving conditions in the NW Passage this year: see http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/f33/northwest-passage-ice-2013-a-108962.html. It's been colder and much tougher to get through than in 2011 or 2012.
