This is about a yacht called Finally. My cousin, who I introduced to sailing some years ago, has found himself a regular crew member. Well done John!!
They left a marina in N Wales last Wednesday and arrived ai a Hamble marina yesterday evening. One quick pit stop in Plymouth for fuel. Light winds and a bit of a time table.
They are heading back down in a bit to prep the yacht for this year's Fastnet. This year its ending in Cherbourg again so a nice little tootle back to the Hamble then Cowes Week. And then of course, the trip back home.
My body has forgotten what it was like when I used to do stuff like that!!
So will be following their progress with interest and reliving busier times remotely. Good luck to you and all the other competitors.
