Confused over asymmetric spinnaker size quotes

We have had a couple of quotes for a new asymmetrical cruising chute to replace the current one that was cut down and doesn’t make a great shape.

The confusion is that one quote recommended a luff about 103% of max hoist and the other 98%. I don’t want to compare the quoted sizes against the cut-down one we have right now as it wasn’t originally designed for our boat.

Probably depends from where the luff measurement is taken from.
