Just seen on Yachting World news on this ybw site: another round the world yacht race is announced. If yachtsmen lose count or are confused by all these conflicting events, it is not surpring that the general public just does not register.

me too...

a friend of mine joined the millennium rtw race, no one seemed to have heard of it and the only boat that went out to greet them after 30,000 miles was me. seems all you have to do is get a few big boats and people are queuing up to thrust wads of money in your hands. now there's a thought....
