Well I guess you all had a wonderful weekend - and so did we! I took CI for a spin and and it was so flat calm that we just kept on going and going..70nm we covered and I won't say where coz thats a subject of another post asking "Where in the world is this?"

All seems mechanically OK. Here's to a good season eh!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So. I was right, You went to or passed Bardsey. But did you stop at the Pub at abadaran?. Did you land on Bardsey and look at the unbelievable sights. Big houses, church built by watshisname. What about the giant bull seals. Massive overfalls that had us pinned just off the rocks for hours.

Go on, tell them about it!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Well, I'd love to tell 'em about it but we went through on a flat calm day at slack water, neaps. No whirl pools, no overfalls, no dragons, no sea-monsters. Just a great view of the lovely houses on the flat side. And then a big off-shore swing home and past the bell rock off St Tudwals East.

The thing I really did notice was the massive drop in temperature out at Bardsey. It dropped 10C and recovered quickly again as we came past Hell's Mouth.
