Concertina not Ford Cortina

I have a Fairline Phanton 32 which has vinyl type concertina doors separating the cabins. The track and roller fittings of one have suffered with use over the years and I am looking for a replacement. Any thoughts as to where I might find something suitable. Given the age of the boat (1980), Fairline are unable to assist or advise of an alternative.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but it does raise another I have often wondered about. why aren't there any breakers yards for boats? or are there? what actually happens to old boats ?

Idea

You're going to have to gettem made, pras pusing some of the old bits. Try an upholsterer type, and be ready for them to be a bit different tho hopefuly fitting the same tracks.

Get shot of them and go for the open plan look.....nah! Oh well. There is a company in Derby called Arrow Doors. They do the type of thing your after. It will probably need making to order so you'll have to have the measurements to hand.

where my flat is used to be a boat breakers yard, that and there are places like the Chandelry Barge on the Hamble that sell salvaged boaty bits, oh yeh and boat jumbles I guess.

Like many interior parts for a boat this sort of thing may well be available at a caravan/motor caravan dealers. Or a breakers yard for same, they do exist

Alternatively try a bathroom sales place, some shower cubicles use this sort of door.

And of course, not bei9ng boaty, the cost is far lower...

Might not be much use, but Argos use to do them in their cat and you could cut to size in white and brown.
