hi
I have recently inherited a kildwick compost loo on a narrowboat purchase.
It appears to have a part missing, maybe a piece of material that close the trap once you’ve done your business.
It’s a few years old, so the German company that brought Kildwick have no clue!
Any help much appreciated.

Since C&RT are banning the disposal of partly composted poo from toilets in their bins, unless you have a facility to fully compost poo ( it takes 3 years ) it might be time to think about replacing it with something more suitable for inland waterways.
