Hi all I'm new to the forum and to boats in general. My step father is buying a Sealine Something, it's around 32ft I know that much! and he is quite the expert on boats (he's been building and racing for years) I've never really had much to do with all this but have been learning as much as I can. However I want to know the basics as much as I can when we get it. Obviously he will teach me all the practical things but is there any specific readings or online courses as such that would be able to teach me the basics enough just so I know what I'm doing in terms of navigation or at least just the rules! Sorry for sounding like a complete noob here but I just have no idea what to do on a boat haha!
