Full refurb of standing and running rigging - pleasant job, no nasty surprises and less than a grand. I might even describe it as fun!

Engine (partial) refurb - an escalating, uncontrollable money pit of a job which is nasty, smelly and back breaking. The exact opposite of fun.

Never wished that I was a sailing purist so much!

What kind of like a through hull outboard mounting system - maybe call it a well? Would that work

Could I not cut two holes, one behind each bilge keel with a chimney above each through the cabin so it doubles as a heater and compression posts?
