At the Commodores Cup and other international events, when GB is divided into four Nations.
What ensigns or flags do they fly to differentiate the teams?

You don't race with ensigns.
When you finish racing, you re-hoist your ensign till preparing for the next event.
Not usually. You just motor (at full chat) to the race marina and get the pints in. If you're very posh, the shore crew might bring the ensign aboard - you wouldn't want to race with extra weight on the boat!
Not in the real world you don't.
Also, GBR compete at the commodore's cup, not the nations. I can't actually think of an international sailing event that is competed in by the nations.

Much as I hate to contradict, the 2014 Comedy Cup had teams from Ireland and Scotland as well as coloured GBR (as in red/white/blue not skin colour) teams which were presumably Englanders. Ireland won it by the way.
I believe there might have been a saltire or three. How many antipodeans were there in the GBR teams?
