Does anybody know the likely commission rate charged by Boatshed to sell a £14000 Moody?

They say "industry standard" rates, which are around 8% plus VAT, so say £1300. Probably negotiable.

why bother, anyone whom looks at boatshed will look at boats and outboards, save yourself a packet and get it on there

I believe Boatshed are considerably cheaper at 6%+ VAT. They occasionally have offers on for even less. I would firstly try Boats and Outboards and gauge interest. Remember to put at least 4 photos on and do not scrimp on the description. I was unlucky last year not to sell so my Jeanneau 24.2 is now up with Premiere at Swanick.....owch!
