They're excellent. The main body of mine is made out of reconstituted chopped-up MAB's which it acquires by being on a 20m+ boat in various narrow channels, hoiks any sailing boat on board that might dare impede us, shows them relevant bits of rule 9 before proceding with the boat-recycling process through a wood chipper.
Mine has never been the same since I tried to warm a Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney pie while tracking a high speed ferry in fog. It's a little bulky on the steering pedestal and keeps fouling the mainsheet, but the biggest glitch is that the display rotates while you're cooking. I've tried locking the display in "North up", but then it ruins the mackerel.

I usually lock mine in course up mode and each course comes out perfectly, of course!
Mines excellent, got it from Lidls,Had to wear a gumshield and keep my chins tucked in to beat off the scrum of tight fisted yachties that got there before me. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Mine works great...If I set the microwave to Met Defrost then the AIS range goes up to 48 miles and all the clutter disappears off the radio...Maybe P and O ferries should consider them.
The Radar alarm only works at night when microwaving fish
