Hello Forumites,
Long time lurker, not much of a poster, but this one really got my attention, so I thought I'd ask for some advice on this forum.
Google is usually my friend, but could not help me in this case. It is a Colvic 45 Aft Cabin version that I have never seen before. I would appreciate any and all information should someone recognize this build.:
Sun Quest 45 fly med akter cab
Fairline 43 Aft Cabin has also been an interesting design, so this seems to be somewhat similar.
We have been without a boat (previous boat a Sealine S37) for two years, and we have been looking for a family boat since. This one seems to satisfy much of what we'd like of a boat.
Something seems a bit odd, the aft anchor seems to be something of a manual affair, but (probably, with a remote control) manageable. Davits may be a bit strangely placed (inwards of hull ?), but could be functional if extended (if they can extend)...
However, I always try to keep in mind that we might try to sell our boat at some point in the future, and a one-off (or rare) boat without a serial line history could be hard to sell.
Any information woul be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Are
