Chastened by the experience of offending BigNick by moaning on about the price of a mooring - all of which I'd made up - I'm now taking him up on his suggestion and starting a post about Colregs or Ensigns.
So - if you had only 1 day left on the planet and you only had 1 choice out of two topics which would you rather spend your last day discussing.... Colregs or Ensigns?
The second part of the question is with whom and the choice is Minnie Driver, Dolores O'Riordan or Marianne Faithfull.

Putting myself in the position of spokesperson for many forumites (I hope) may I ask 'Who in the name of all that's holy is Dolores O'Riordan?'

I didn't know either.

"Biography
Dolores O'Riordan joined Irish rock band, The Cranberries as lead singer in mid 1990. Her style has changed over the years, but the success of her creativity has helped the talented musician, singer and songwriter break into the mainstream music industry. "

Ensigns and only ensigns cos I am sure to be wrapped in one when I bite the dust - certainly will be one with lots of gold braid and purple on it /forums/images/icons/smile.gif.

I gather MF has driven a man or two to look like death, maybe she would do.

If I had 1 day left on the planet, definately wouldn't want to spend it talking about colregs or ensigns/forums/images/icons/crazy.gif

Is Colregs some sort of toothpaste? I like the one with the blue stripe in it!
Most of the Ensigns I knew are blokes, so stuff that.
Marianne Faitfull and a Mars Bar!

I think I would prefer to eh.. collide with Minnie Driver. It's OK for her to wear an ensign , at least in the beginning.

It would have to be Ensigns, but they are a bit young for me; would prefer an Admiral or Captain at least. And those ladies? Pleeease.....what about Pierce Brosnan?

Totally agree with Becky about Piercie baby. If he's not available then George Clooney would do.......... hmmmmmm let me think on that one tough decision.

maybe colregs bound to get into lots of arguments but the making up would be nice...now which one of them again was it again.....

After watching Dolores O'Riordan strutting her stuff on the stage of the Manchester Apollo for two hours there is no contest. But can we have some more choices of suggested topic please!
