Can you colour epoxy?
Got a couple of things I need to epoxy but rather than epoxy then paint I wondered if I could just colour the epoxy?

I made two knobs in epoxy mixed with graphite for my Monitor winvane. They've been in the sun for 5 years at least and show no signs of degradation.Maybe that's because they're black.

Epoxy mixed with graphite has been used on teak deck as caulking.
The graphite powder probably make a kind of UV barrier.

I used white pigment in epoxy, turned yellow after one summer.

Yes, pigment will not normally give UV resistance. I have cream pigmented thickened epoxy to make seams in teak flooring inside with success, but externally only black pigment seems to work without discolouring. Still might be worth pigmenting before painting as it gives some depth to colour of final finish.
