I know this may appear to be a little unimportant dare I say vain but it is causing some discussion and consideration.
Hull anti foul and boot top red, thin cove line black, Sigma decors original faded black/grey.
So what colour scheme for spray hood, dodgers and sail cover?
The name Orcana would suggest a black/white influence and previous owner had a black sail cover made.
Do we bite the bullet and have new boot top colour to navy allowing a preferred navy scheme for canvas or consider other colour schemes to go with red? Any one managed this? Any photos?
Makes a change from all other considerations we are having to take on for upgrades!

Fifty shades of Grey

On previous boat I went for blue and within 2 seasons it had faded. This boat came with very faded red sprayhood and main cover so when I replaced I went for grey - 2 years in no fading!

Grey Grey Grey,

Looks great and just fades down a shade, also the new Jeaneteahanse's all seem to be realising the advantages of a prefaded look !!!

White hull, blue hoods, blue antifoul and blue bump strip to go with the blue dash board, blue cabin door and blue interior.

I think on that basis our colour scheme might be BLUE :D

Blue is good.
We had dark blue stackpacks made for our new main and mizzen in 2007 and a cover in the same material for the staysail.
Got a supply of the same material off the roll from the sailmakers and now have covers for the big hatches, winches, liferaft, wheel.
Probably me if I sit still long enough
Hasn't faded at all.
I think the quality of the material determines the amount it fades. Except red.......
