Anyone know what happened to Colnebrook who made the reefing gear on my 12 year old boat? It's is siezed up and I was hoping to find a diagram and/or technical spec to dismantle it without causing too much damage in the process!

I think I can help you on this as I have the same on Fairweather. The paperwork is aboard and I won't be going to the boat for a week or so but I can copy it and send it on to you.
I know that the Alan screws at the bottom can be a pain to get loosened, although mine came out no problem.. but it may be a good idea to start soaking them in release fluid if you are planning work

Rotostay are almost the same as the Colnebrook. I will have a spare system in a months time as I am changing one on a Vega 27 to a Rotostay system. I do not know the state of the old gear but it is Hampshire. If you wnat you can PM me or email at:
