Quite a fleet/gaggle/shoal/snifter/etc enjoyed the weather at Portishead this weekend. It was nice to meet the faces behind the names (Hey Martin, you have a Welsh accent - you don't write with one /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )

A quorum of forumites sounds good, but a rabble of forumites is probably more accurate.

It was good, and even though we never managed to offer you a fleeting glance of our newly installed snifter, it was nice to catch up.

I'm sure we will be back, with enough notice for you to arrange a holiday in some far flung part......

Lovely pics, none of my camera batteries were charged, but that was the least of my problems.

I'll go with a disturbance of forumites!

Thanks to Damo and his nocturnal colleague for the warm welcome and great photo's

As Martin said we'll be back, hopefully with a bit more time to look round Portishead.

Great pictures Damo, many thanks for posting them.
A great weekend, another two days of great sailing, hard to believe it is still only the middle of March! Many thanks to all involved.

looks like a prestige 36 to me....

harvey mae was takin her first trip of the season on sunday but only on river unfortunately...lol. roll on easter.

Prestige 36 'Wishful Thinking' out for a spin. The big'un is a Princess 65 up from Swansea for a lift-out (reminder to skippers - just because you have a huge mobo doesn't mean you can arrive unannounced, with your radio off, and not obey traffic lights /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif )

The owner told me he was thinking of selling it and buying something called a Broom 42. Should sweep the board with that!

And maybe they could remember to keep their speed down when passing yachts leaving a lock as well, whilst they are at it?
