coleman oven

No. It is a low volume specialist item which somebody has to ship (mostly air as in volume is high in relation to value), add duty, hold it in stock, market it, add VAT and hope that somebody might buy it.

Price differentials like this are often the case when a product is a high volume seller in one country and low volume in another.

Try buying it in the US and shipping it yourself to get an idea of the on costs.

coleman portable oven (that can be used on a 2 burner stove) is $38 on amazon.com but this became a whopping £98 by the time they added shipping.

On: http://www.fishingmagic.com/shop/tackle_news/12366-the-coleman-campstove-oven.html it is £59.99 + £9 p&p = £68.99.

Again,a lot for a $38 item (about £24). So is it the shipping company making all that extra cash?

An alternative is the 'Outback Oven', a bit cheaper and, I believe, available in UK. Google it.
