- just the finger tips on both hands, uncomfortable bordering on painful. I don't notice it sailing my flying fifteen (with neopene gloves) until I get off the water, but on a big boat the weekend before last it was awful /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Even just walking to work this morning, my finger tips are still numb typing. Feet and toes quite toasty in hiking boots. Anybody out there got a remedy?

This is a circulation issue. Not serious but a nuisance. In severe cases it is called Raynaud's. The best remedy is to keep hands warm now and with future exposure to cold. If very troublesome some people get relief from taking a medication called Calcium channel antagonist.

You can also buy battery operated heated gloves.

good luck

Much cheaper than £50 in our local garage. Going rate for a decent pair on ebay is £12 and Maplin sell them for similar.
