If the ambient temprature is 7 to 8 celsius can antifoul be painted on? Cruiser uno is my usual elixir, fibreglass hull.

Hempel Tiger Extra says minimum 5 degrees. I’ll be warming mine up in the airing cupboard tonight!
The primer today really didn’t like the low temp though - 3 degrees. Might have to revisit that.

Surely it depends on the paint - and the responses seem to agree.

As MartynG implies - read the instructions.

Props are easier, take them off, the kitchen table is usually warmer that outdoors and much more comfortable for the owner (though the wife might be less enthusiastic).

I confess a lack of knowledge to be more useful, 7-8 degrees C ambient temperatures, sounds more like a marine fridge temperature in the tropics..... :)

I put the antifouling in the warm box normally used to keep my Epoxy resin up to temperature, leave it in there the day before I need it. ( Wooden box reptile heat pad set to max temp 25C )
Wipe the hull down if there's been frost then go over it with a hot air gun ( paint stripper) but of course not held too close to the hull. You're not heating hull just drying it.
Completely painted and antifouled the hull this way in Feb / march last year.

I have been forced to antifouling while it was snowing in the past and had no particular problems. It was probably TBT and may have actually worked.
