A Happy New Year to all,
We have been trying to regain the use of the brake clamp on our Cobra steering, which no longer screws in far enough to have any effect. To remove the threaded bolt that is the 'brake stud", it is necessary to first remove its retention pin, which Cliff at Winchservicing thinks may be a 3mm grub screw (looks about right!).
We have tried small metric Allen keys and various screwdrivers but none seem to engage. I suppose it could be an 'imperial' piece of engineering?
Has anyone removed this tiny pin/screw and thereby advise the tool needed?
Thanks in advance.
Bob
