Cobbs marina, Poole

Does anyone have experience of Cobbs - looks like most of it dries acording to almanac so wondering about access and bethring of 1.9m draft 36 footer and what restrictions there may be - will do tidal calcs obvioulsy but would appreciate any insider knowledge from previous users

The last time I went in there with a draught of 1.5m Iwas dragging the fin through the mud at low water. but that was a few years ago. Dredging may have taken place since but I don't know. A local should be along shortly to confirm one way or the other

We were berthed there for a few years and other than low water you should be OK. We drew 1.8 and touched at LW, but as John says it's just mud so no real probs. However, if you want to be safe avoid LW+/-2.

Nice people, good chandlery but as others have said very shallow! You might get a better price from Davis's (next door)
