Think the rest had more sense.

Largest of the Aran Islands.......... can't remember its name.

The stoneworks is the Black Fort IIRC. It has another name of Dun something-or-other ........................... not doing very well at the memory game, am I /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

In for a penny.....................

Long shot on the last pic as I didn't approach the place by sea................... Roundstone?

The Aran Islands experience was one of the highlights of a land-based holiday in Connemara. The pony and trap ride around Inishmore was unforgettable thanks to the softly spoken gentleman who gave us a very informative tour.

Re: Smarty

Erk - Roundstone is correct. Nice spot. Anchored in a F8 then took half the sea floor up with the anchor on leaving. Clifden good too with Galway CoCo visitors moorings.
Found the Aran Islands - or Inishmore - a bit commercialised. And where was Father Ted?

Re: Smarty

At least you did some sailing.

HazardtoShipping was in County Mayo hanging on a mooring buoy in Clew Bay for ten days, then the skipper lost heart and flew home. Ten days and never sailed an inch.

Re: Smarty

Here we are once the blow had eased off. It's easy to see the CQR has a marginally better holding pattern than the Delta for this profile. Or are we on a mooring the previous day....
