With the Coastguard changes times and channels for weather forecasts have changed above 56 degrees north on the West Coast of Scotland. I got this information from the coastguard and am passing it on to others who may find it useful.
"With regard to the weather forecasts the same aerials will be used but the time has been changed in the area north of 56 degrees. Belfast CG are now using the time slot that Clyde previously had.
Stornoway now issue the forecast at 0110 local time and every 3 hours afterwards. The channels used are Butt of Lewis, Skriag (Skye), Barra and Torosay are on channel 10. Stornoway, Clettreval (North Uist)Drumfern (South Skye) and Tiree on channel 23. Forsnaval (West Lewis), Rodel and Glengorm Channel 84. Melvaig and Arisaig are on channel 86.
We will of course give you a forecast on request if for any reason you miss the broadcast."
Hopefully it all works well
