Well it's spending money time. I need a chartplotter to replace my Furuno 1650 chartplotter / fishfinder unit. Well actually I want to leave the Furuno on FF mode as it's a fairly reasonable colour plotter and get a separate chartplotter unit. My only previous experience was Navionics (not gold) on the Furuno when I first got the boat (soon changed for CMax) and an Interphase 7CI which also ran on CMax and was a good refresh rate. The Furuno is desperately slow on redraw and cursor find.
So this is a chance to spend someone else's money - my budget is £500 incl delivery so avoid any pipe dreams !!
