CM93 font

Hi Folks,
I'm running a copy of CM93 & Cmap NT charts on Maxsea but would like to change the font on the charts. Looks like Times New Roman itallic, all those serifs are getting in the way. Is this possible?
Do newer Cmap charts look similar or are they more like the Navionics Gold that I have with my C120?

Looking to add a PC based system as well as the C120 as a backup.
