Hi All

I have recently bought a Fairline Targa 33. I am based in Chichester and am looking to join a local club or association to meet other like minded people. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Hi,

Yep, I have a Fairline Sprint based in Chichester marina, which is a great place to be. First boat, and starting my third boating season. Can take a while to get to know people down there, but worth the effort.

You don't have to be a sealine owner to join the sealine owners club. Many of us started with sealines but have other models now. We are a friendly bunch and we have a cruise to the channel islands at may half term and to Paris in august planned.

Sign up for the newsletter at the bottom of here: http://sealineownersclub.org/

Or there is the Ancasta Motor Boat Club http://www.ancasta.com/news/?category=Motor Boat Club

They do local rallies the last one was to Cowes http://www.ancasta.com/news/the-motor-boat-club-take-on-cowes/

I am in both

oGaryo of this parish organises a forum Beer and Natter, where forumites get together and talk boats all night long. We have just had one in Swanwick and very good it was too!

Hi All

I have recently bought a Fairline Targa 33. I am based in Chichester and am looking to join a local club or association to meet other like minded people. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I was a member of Chichester yacht club for about 7 years and can honestly say the members taught me everything I now about boating. I can't vouch for it now as I haven't been a member for a while but it was an excellent place for us to start. Was very family friendly too.
For about 4 years on the trot we did over 30 cruises a year with the club, many across the channel as far as St Malo. Sadly fuel costs stop us doing that now.

There are few of us who regularly cruise together and you are more than welcome to join us. I must warn you in advance that I have two kids... well behaved of course.

What pontoon are you on? We're on D. Feel free to pop along anytime.
