We have an alarm base unit in the Clubhouse linked wirelessly to about 60 transmitters fitted to boats in the creek but we can't get any more as the system is out of production.
Does anyone know of a new sysrem that will allow a number of boats up to 100 m from the base station, to be alarmed against break-ins?

Long time ago, but we have setup systems from Scantronic.

These we installed into a case for use by the police for temporary installs.

Quite effective in use, with indication of low batteries in the transmitters.

I would have thought that whoever installed the original system would have some recommendations for a replacement ?

What about

A GSM Car Alarm. It will call you and leave a message. You could have them all calling one phone number or everyone looks after his own. Be worth a hunt round.

Had a look at the other alarm site and i would assume that the reason they have up to 32 is because they use 5 jumpers in the transmitter. This then gives you a code of 16 8 4 2 1 max 32 ie 0 - 31 unless they can set the transmitters / receivers to transmit on different frequencies as well.
