Clovelly Flooded!

Poor old Clovelly has been hit by flash flooding, The cobbled main street was a vertical river of Red/ brown water.
Dried now but lots of damage and everything has to be hauled up to the Landrover access road for disposal.Now that village will have problem getting household insurance!

Poor people ! It is not easy to get up and down at the best of times. Did the pub at the bottom survive ? The car park at the top used to be earth but is now a couple of acres of tarmac which may have helped contribute to the run-off..
