cloudy vinyl windows in sprayhood.

Yes, there are ways to restore vision to vinyl windows.

The surfaces deteriorate in much the same way most surfaces do.

Cleaning and polishing is the simple answer but there are a few things to note.

Chemicals may have an impact on them.

You may polish away protective coatings or layers that are an integral part of the vinyl.

The cleaning stage could be mild de-scaling products such as Viakal.
Light polishing from products that have consistency of salad cream for example with a soft sponge attachment. (Read 'very fine') if going down a machine route.

With caution to the wind - use whatever polishing liquids you've got on board.

Do you know what make of window material they used? I might have to have my sprayhood done - it's being cleaned by Tip-Top via Suffolk Sails.

Sorry, didn't ask. Truthfully I wouldn't know the difference. However I take sprayhood down along with all exterior materials and store away for winter. The 'plastic' windows seem much more flexible and 'foldable' than the old stuff.
Edit: tried to upload pic of sprayhood to give idea of size etc. Wont let me. sorry, not terribly helpful.
