Last week I went on a 3 day Close Quarter Handling course with Mendez Marine.

I done the course on a 1 to1 basis with Steven their instructor and cannot praise the whole experience highly enough.

The Storbro was perfect as a course boat, being enclosed meant it was very warm and as it does not have thrusters means you are taught ' real ' boat handling.

Without doubt under Stevens very laid back teaching the vast amount of knowledge he imparted and practical exercises we carried out has left me so much more confident in my boat handling.

If you are at all nervous this is the course for you, but I do suggest that you do a 2 to 1 basis as the constant attention you have to apply can be very tiring.

I'm really glad you had a good time Doug. Steve is a really good guy and as you, say laid back. Bow thuster? What's that? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I would have expected "Swiss T" to have a thruster. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
