footprints on ceiling

a cleat is what the sunseeker salesman points at when you enquire about storage and when they look blanks, you explain by asking if there is "somewhere to put mooring lines?"

Arthur Wellesley Irish? Nonsense!

He may have been born in Dublin, but we owned the place at the time you know. My best mate was born on a British Army base in Munster, but it doesn't make him a kraut! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

When once accused of being an Irishman the Duke of Wellington famously replied, "Sir, if a man is born in a stable it doesn't make him a horse."
