Clipper depth meter

Hi
New boat owner here
My clipper depth meter is not working.
It flashes a crazy deep depth (incorrect)
Them flashen one possibly correct
Them flashen out
And starts over with the 3 above mentioned readings.

What to do here? Any tips appreciated

Fixed a few of these on the river and every one was the control head.
