Hello, I’m desperately seeking a rowing boat for a short UK Film Council Film to be shot in Devon in August.
The script calls for a clinker type wooden rowing boat in which the main character awakes drifting down the river Dart. It can’t be any bigger than about 9ft and would preferably be painted and ‘be a bit rough round the edges’ with flaky paint, slightly dodgy timbers, even a small leak would be acceptable!
I would be extremely grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of such a vessel. I would be willing to travel/collect/purchase outright/hire etc etc as I’ve been looking for a while and not come up with anything.
